The Pitfalls of American Dieting:

OK...so you think you've been eating the right foods forever; low in calories and fat, high in complex carbohydrates and fiber with a moderate amount of  protein at every meal.  Or, maybe you decided to go the Atkins route and drop the carbs to a baseline low; which in the end left you feeling tired, lethargic and hungry just so you could enjoy a healthy portion of unhealthy proteins and saturated fats!  You've even committed to a vigorous exercise schedule three, four, five maybe even six times a week, but every time you look in the mirror you just don't have the look you want!  Well....you're not alone!

 

For the last thirty years Americans and other Nations around the world have been programmed to believe that in order to lose weight and get in shape, they must first eat less while simultaneously exercising more on a regular and consistent basis!  This is one of the greatest and most recognized "pitfalls" in the history of American dieting!  The other is the idea that "cutting carbs" (low carb dieting) promotes a lean, hard and healthy body; it does not!
