The INTRAFITT Live/Online Clinical and Sports Nutrition and Exercise Certification Workshop is currently in the process of being transformed into a NEW interactive online "Distance Learning Workshop & Clinic" platform that students will be able to access whenever and wherever they choose.  If you would like to see a demo of this NEW Virtual Workshop Platform, please go to Module II Demo . 

This new LMS (Learning Management System) will provide students with a greater conceptual understanding of the curriculums presented within the framework of the INTRAFITT Clinical and Sports Nutrition and Exercise Certification, thus enabling them to be better prepared and much more effective at the client counseling level once they obtain their certificate of completion!

If you would like to register for the INTRAFITT Clinical and Sports Nutrition and Exercise Certification Clinic in the meantime you may do so as indicated below.  Then, once the new Virtual Workshop Platform is completed, we will email the link to you as an adjunct to your preparatory curriculum.

Please keep in mind that all students may request to take their final exams at anytime throughout the preparatory process.  Completion of the new Distance Learning Module is NOT a requirement to obtain certification in the INTRAFITT Clinical and Sports Nutrition Curriculum.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES
All registration forms and fees must be received at least seven business days prior to the scheduled certification workshop date. Payments and registration forms received after the deadline may be applied to a successive yet respective certification workshop.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
Upon receipt of your payment and/or registration form, all course materials listed for the respective certification will be shipped within two business days.  Course materials will be sent Priority Mail via United States Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation to the address on your completed registration form or "Ship To" address if registered online. You can check the status of your parcel by calling 704.781.0400 (ext3.) or log onto www.usps.com then click "Track/Confirm" and enter the delivery confirmation number provided to you.. If you have further questions and/or need additional information you may call the INTRAFITT Corporate Office at 704.781.0400 (ext3.) Monday thru Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm pacific coast standard..

EXERCISE SCIENCE WORKSHOP INFORMATION
Unless otherwise notified, Certification Workshops will begin promptly at 11:00AM and end at 7:00PM (Eastern Standard Time) each day with a one-hour break for lunch along with two 20 minute breaks (one at mid-morning and one at mid-afternoon). Students are welcome to bring food and drinks to LIPWs however, each student is responsible for leaving their workstation neat and presentable at the end of each day. Any student, not able to complete an entire workshop will not be penalized and may still take the online final exams whenever he/she feels ready to do so.

WORKSHOP POSTPONEMENT

In the event a Workshop is postponed for any reason students will be notified at  least one week in advance and will immediately be confirmed and registered at the next scheduled and respective workshop.  In the event  newly scheduled dates are not feasible for the student (previously registered) to attend, he/she will automatically  be transferred and confirmed at the next successive workshop that he or she can attend.

NOTE: Non attendance to an INTRAFITT Certification  Workshop will not prevent students from taking the final exams to obtain certification.  Furthermore, by purchasing either one or both of the aforementioned workshops, students warrant that they have perused the information hereto and fully agree to the terms and conditions set forth in the INTRAFITT Certification Workshop Registration Information.

MATERIALS NEEDED TO ATTEND A CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP
Aside from the standard course materials provided with each respective curriculum, students will also need access to writing utensils, a calculator and a notepad in order to participate effectively in the certification workshop.

C.E.U.s  AND MAINTAINING YOUR CERTIFICATION
Your Certificate of completion is valid for two years from the printed date. In order to maintain your INTRAFITT Certification, students must earn a minimum of 30 CEUs prior to the expiration of the certificate. CEUs needed to maintain  INTRAFITT Certification must be obtained from an INTRAFITT Approved certifying body such as ACSM or other INTRAFITT  Health Science Certifications and Continuing Educational Curriculums.  If you are interested in receiving continuing educational credits through other certifying bodies such as A.C.E  or A.C.S.M. you may petition to do so and will need to submit a copy of  your chosen course syllabus and a copy of your certificate of completion to the respective certifying body. NOTE: Students receiving a passing score on  the INTRAFITT Advanced Personal Trainer Certification will earn 18 CEUs while Students receiving a passing score on  the INTRAFITT Clinical & Sports Nutrition Certification will earn 32 CEUs.  Students receiving certification from either certification workshop; once again may petition to receive (CEUs) from ACE,  and/or other Certifying Agencies.

TESTING AND RE-TESTING
In order to maintain the preeminent standards associated with the INTRAFITT Technical Training Program and Certifying procedure, students will engage a series of written and practical* examinations in order to obtain their elected INTRAFITT Certification.  Furthermore a score of 80% or higher must be achieved on all final exams (written and practical) in order for students to obtain certification.  If  a student does not receive a passing score on any or all of the course exams, he/she may repeat each exam two additional times or until a passing score is obtained.  If a student requires more than three trials to pass a specific written exam a $25.00 testing fee for each exam retest will be applicable. If a student needs to retake his/her practical exam; a $75.00 retest fee will apply.
 

WRITTEN EXAMS

Written Certification Exams are offered online at INTRAFITT.com and may be taken at any time proceeding student registration.  There are a total of five / twenty point, multiple choice exams required to certify as a Clinical and Sports Nutrition Technician and a total of ten / twenty point, multiple choice exams required to certify as an Advanced Exercise Science Technician.

If a student does not receive a passing score on any or all of the final exams, he/she may repeat each exam two times (for a total of three trials) or until he/she receives a passing score whichever comes first.  If a student requires more than three trials to pass any one or more final exams, a fee of $25.00 for each exam retest will be applicable.

PRACTICAL EXAMS

Recently a practical exam component has been added to the INTRAFITT Allied Health Care Professionals / Clinical and Sports Nutrition Certification and is designed to test students on their ability to present and convey comprehensive nutrition and exercise related concepts and applications during various client counseling procedures.  Areas of practical testing include the following;

• Nutrition and Fitness Assessment (Protocol A & B)

• Data Acquisition and Conversion

• Dietary and Exercise Program Fabrication

• Initial Nutrition and Fitness Consultation Procedures

• Progress Evaluations and Troubleshooting

Upon confirming the date and time of  a practical CSNE** (Clinical and Sports Nutrition Examination) an  IMTR (INTRAFITT Master Technical Representative) will send the student a checklist of the specific items that he/she will be tested on in order to help the student better prepare for the examination.  Upon completion of the practical examination, the IMTR will tally the student's exam score and submit the final score to the student via email within 48 hours of completion.

Student certificates of completion are expedited within 7-10 business days upon successful completion of all written and/or practical exams.

REFUNDS
Registration fees are non-refundable once they are received by the INTRAFITT Corporation.
